How long have you been in business?
July 1, 2015 marks our 25th year in business.
What is your primary product or service?
We are a manufacturer of seasoning blends.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
The company who employed me asked me and 25 other sales representatives to start a food ingredients division from scratch. Find the customers and find the suppliers! I have a BA in International Commerce from Furman University. I also graduated from Harvard's OPM33 Program.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are the first LEED certified seasoning manufacturer in the country and I believe we are still the only LEED seasoning manufacturer in the country. We floor stock finished blends for our customers, we are nimble, quick to respond and our customers tell us we are "customer focused".
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one plant located in Rock Hill, SC. In the spring of 2014 we acquired Old Dominion Spice and we continue to look for acquisitions that fit our core culture.

We are located at 1595 Cedar Line Drive. Minutes from Dave Lyle Blvd (exit 79 on Hwy 77) just south of Charlotte NC.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept ACH and paper check payments only.
Which areas do you service?
We are a national company servicing over 35 states as of 2014.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Doug Meyer-Cuno is the owner; however the company is managed daily by our senior management team.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm. We observe major national holidays.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
I had an employee recently tell me how proud they were to work at Carolina Ingredients and how excited they were to work for a growing, well run company. To me, it doesn't get any better than that. I love my team.
